About Peter
Peter is an award-winning actor and visual artist who currently resides in Redcliffe, Australia.
He studied Fine Art, Sculpture and Fabric design at The
Camberwell School of Art, London, England.
He worked on the completion of Sir Jacob Epstein's St Michael and the Devil bronze sculpture, Coventry Cathedral. Also Dame Barbara Hepworth's 'Meridian' and two bronze sculptures by Kenneth Armitage.
In
the 1960s worked for four years as a Commercial Artist at the William
Large Studios, Fleet Street, London.
In the 1980's he was employed by Interlogo London as a Fabric Designer. Working with French and Italian MIlls. Dutel Freres in Lyon and Mollinelli at Lake Como.
In 2008 he won the Xstrata Percival Portrait People's Choice Award for the portrait of Mac Core. Medium, Oil on Canvas.
He was also a 2012 Finalist and third prize winner in the Xstrata Animal Portrait Exhibition for the portrait of 'Mardi a working dog.
